Purpose: To recognize outstanding men and women who have made
a difference and contributed to the success of their business. A nominee's
efforts must have resulted in advancement in his/her career/profession, and
contributed to the business success and betterment of the quality of life in
Somerset County.
The nominee must be employed by a
member firm of the Business Partnership/Somerset County Chamber of Commerce.
Primary emphasis will be given to business and professional achievements over
the last five years including leadership, stability, growth or profitability.
The nominee also should have demonstrated outstanding leadership in community
service. There is no limit to the number of nominations one can submit. Previous
nominees may be nominated: nomination forms should include most recent
accomplishments. Previous recipients may be nominated for different
accomplishments. A personal interview may be requested by the committee.

Young Entrepreneur Award Criteria:
To be eligible, you must be a full-time student in public or private
high school located in Somerset County, age 21 or younger, and a
resident of Somerset County. The business must be your own
enterprise, not a partnership.. Separate
nomination forms are available at the Business Partnership and with High
School Guidance Counselors.
