Do you know a person whose exemplary efforts have demonstrated creativity, vision, leadership and citizenship? The Somerset County Business Partnership is seeking nominations for Somerset County's most celebrated honors, recognizing outstanding contributions to the community.

Awards dinner: May 6, 2010 at The Martinsville Inn

Criteria

• Recipients should be residents of Somerset County. Neither nominees nor their employers need to be members of the Somerset County Business Partnership
• Primary consideration should be exemplary service (including volunteer work) to the local/county community in single or multiple initiatives
• Service should enhance the welfare of the overall population and not be focused in a singular event or activity.
• Service rewarded should be beyond that contained in the individual’s job description.
• Consideration should be given to leadership, initiative, creativity and success.
• Nominees shall not be precluded from consideration based on their political affiliation, activity, candidacy or incumbency, providing that candidates are not selected or awarded during an election cycle.
