No cost employee health screenings at Workplace Wellness Exposition

BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Somerset County Business Partnership, in collaboration with Healthier Somerset, is offering a comprehensive range of free health screenings at the ”4th Annual Workplace Health & Wellness Exposition 2018,” on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at The Imperia, 1714 Easton Avenue, Somerset, New Jersey. Somerset County’s premier workplace wellness event, offered during Healthier Somerset Month, is being provided as a no cost business resource for local companies and their employees. In addition to showcasing the numerous opportunities and benefits that can be gained by employers who implement wellness strategies as a component of their business model, Expo 2018 will make available a myriad of free health screenings for employees in attendance. BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Business Partnership visit another of Somerset County’s most interesting locations when they host Somerset County’s most effective networking opportunity on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Somerset County 4-H Association. The Ted Blum Somerset County 4-H Center, located at 310 Milltown Road in Bridgewater, New Jersey, offers opportunities for children and teens to join various clubs, discover new interests, and make new friends. Somerset County Freeholders announce electric vehicle initiative

The Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders is hoping that the county becomes a New Jersey leader in the use of electric vehicles with a newly announced initiative that could help give charging stations some spark. Freeholder Director Patrick Scaglione and Freeholder Mark Caliguire announced the initiative last week in front of the county courthouse in Somerville, with a Chevy Bolt electric vehicle and charging station as backdrops. “Our goal is to make Somerset County the model for supporting electric vehicles for both government use and for providing access to charging stations to make private electric vehicle ownership in Somerset County more viable and convenient,” he said. “We are well on our way to achieving both goals and we have just released our implementation plan.” Back in March, Caliguire convened the Somerset County Electric Vehicle Implementation Task Force with members from county staff, the Somerset County Energy Council, the Somerset County Business Partnership...

Cherry Valley Country Club was recognized and Club of the Year in 2016 by the New Jersey Golf Foundation, the charitable arm of the New Jersey Section, PGA of America (NJPGA).
