BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Somerset County Employers Legislative Committee (ELC) will host New Jersey Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) at a luncheon scheduled for Friday, October 26, 2018. The luncheon meeting will take place at Verve Bistro, Bar, & Lounge, 18 East Main Street in Somerville from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Congressman Lance is expected to discuss his Congressional priorities and how his efforts will support the growth and sustainability of the Somerset County business community.

Lance’s 7th Congressional District extends from the Delaware River into Union County and from Mount Olive to Montgomery. He serves as Vice-chair of the Communications and Technology Committee and serves on the Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee and the Health Committee.

“Leonard Lance has been a strong advocate for Somerset County for decades, both in the New Jersey Legislature and now in Congress,” commented Carol Bianchi, co-chair of the Somerset County ELC. “His insight into Congressional activities and dialogue with our business and political leaders is certain to be helpful as we transition into 2019.”
