
Somerset County Business Partnership Announces Economic Vitality Award Recipients for 2018
BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) will recognize LabCorp of Raritan, New Jersey, the Somerset County Planning Board, and Linda Dousis of Administrative Services and Consulting, LLC as recipients of the 2018 Economic Vitality Awards, recognizing their leadership in enhancing the economic competitiveness of Somerset County.
The Economic Vitality Awards will be presented at the Somerset County Business Partnership Annual Meeting on Monday, December 10, 2018, at the Palace at Somerset Park, 333 Davidson Avenue in Somerset, New Jersey. The day’s activities will begin with a networking reception at 11:30 A.M. followed by the luncheon at 12:15 P.M.
• LabCorp is a leading global life sciences company that is deeply integrated in guiding patient care, with a mission to improve health and improve lives by delivering world-class diagnostic solutions, bringing innovative medicines to patients faster, and using technology to improve the delivery of care. LabCorp’s award recognizes a significant investment to expand its facility in the Borough of Raritan, which will result in the addition of new jobs to reach a total of more than 1,100 local employees.
• Somerset County Planning Board will be recognized for outstanding leadership in making vibrant connections with community partners to help make Somerset County a great place to live, work, learn, play and visit.

• Linda Dousis for championing the cause of our local small businesses through her leadership at the Small Business Development Center at Raritan Valley Community College and the Somerset County Business Partnership
The SCBP Annual Meeting attracts more than 500 people from the private and public sectors who gather to mingle while enjoying the food and ambience that make The Palace one of the area’s top venues for celebrations. This year the Business Partnership will reflect on the past 100 years, but most importantly, the plans for the next 100 years.
