Ribbon Cutting & Grand Openings

A ribbon cutting is the ceremonial opening of a brand-new or newly-renovated/relocated business that usually happens on the first day of business or near the date of the soft opening. While the SCBP will consider cutting requests for anniversary celebrations, a ribbon cutting is not an automatic event for new membership. Ribbon cuttings are an important celebration that gives the owner a chance to take inaugural photos, introduce your business to the community and its members, and to publicly thank financial backers, family, friends, employees and business partners.
