A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT/CEO, MICHAEL KERWIN:.jpg)
In the next several weeks, the SCBP has planned three key events to show you exactly how we plan to achieve our primary goal for 2013, to begin implementing long-term economic strategies that will make a difference:
Presenting the blueprint, May 17, 2pm: The unveiling of Somerset County's comprehensive economic development strategy: "Investment Somerset, a Collaborative Framework for Economic Growth," a federally approved collaborative blueprint for economic growth.
Leveraging state resources, May 31, 12pm: Fifth Friday Friars Luncheon featuring Michelle Brown, CEO of the NJ Economic Development Authority. Learn about New Jersey's plan to use federal funding to increase our resiliency and position Somerset County businesses to benefit from incentives, grants and programs.
Showcasing our competitive advantages, June 7, 8am: In collaboration with the Somerset County Freeholders and Planning Board, we are hosting a conference where the Somerset County business community will remind the world that we remain a superior place to live, work and play.
I look forward to seeing you at these important events.
